Ramlee, a former ship's sailor, lives alone in a village. His life is lonely despite having three children, filled with the haunting presence of his wife's spirit, Haryati. After a commotion occurs in the village, his eldest daughter, Maryam, returns home. The vision of his wife, Haryati, disappears after Maryam makes her father realize that their mother has passed away.
