Yoiaanisqatsi

Non-narrative exploration of the city of Pittsburgh drawing inspiration from and using the visual language of Godfrey Reggio's 1982 art film "Koyaanisqatsi" (and its sequels)--time lapse, slow motion, and intense detail--to create a unique portrait of one American city during one calendar year (2025). Filmmaker Willard Simmons also scores the movie with an original instrumental soundtrack that is at turns dramatic, thoughtful, and mysterious.
